คำถามที่พบบ่อยเกี่ยวกับคู่มือ การลงทะเบียน และการสนับสนุนสำหรับแบรนด์นี้
-
What does the U-tube Manometer indication mean?
The U-tube Manometer indicates the vacuum pressure within the radon mitigation system. It does not measure radon levels. If the fluid levels in the U-tube are equal (reading zero), it indicates the fan is not creating suction and may require service.
-
How often should I test my home for radon?
It is recommended to test your home for radon at least every two years, or after any significant renovations, to ensure the mitigation system is functioning effectively.
-
Is it safe to turn off my RadonAway fan?
Radon fans are designed to run continuously. Turning off the fan will stop the mitigation process, allowing radon levels to rise. Additionally, leaving a fan installed but unpowered for more than 48 hours can lead to fan failure due to moisture accumulation.
-
Can I install a RadonAway fan myself?
RadonAway fans and systems are intended for installation by trained, professional, and certified/licensed radon mitigators to ensure compliance with local codes and effective radon reduction.
-
Where should a radon fan be installed?
Fans should typically be mounted vertically with the outlet pointing up, in an unconditioned space such as an attic, garage, or outdoors, to prevent condensation damage and ensure proper venting.
