This sensor is an add-on device and requires the following RAINPOINT components for full functionality:
- RAINPOINT WiFi Sprinkler Timer: Compatible models include TTV103WRF or TTV203WRF. These timers are sold separately.

Only one WiFi Moisture Sensor can be used per zone of a WiFi water timer. For stable data transmission, install the sensor within 10 meters (approximately 33 feet) of the WiFi water timer hub.

To pair the soil moisture sensor:
- Ensure the WiFi Hub is powered on and connected to the internet.
- Open the RAINPOINT app and navigate to the device pairing section.
- On the soil moisture sensor, press and hold the pairing button (usually located near the battery compartment) for approximately 5 seconds until an indicator light (e.g., red light) illuminates, signaling it's in pairing mode.
- Follow the on-screen prompts in the RAINPOINT app to complete the pairing process. The sensor should appear as a discoverable device.
- Once paired, assign the sensor to the desired zone on your WiFi Sprinkler Timer within the app.
Note: If the indicator light does not come on or pairing fails, try removing and reinserting the batteries, then repeat the pairing steps. Ensure the sensor is within 10 meters of the WiFi Hub during pairing and operation.

Smart Watering Automation
The primary function of the sensor is to enable smart watering automation. Within the RAINPOINT app, you can configure your paired WiFi Sprinkler Timer to adjust its watering schedule based on the sensor's readings. This allows for:
