- Attach the temperature control probe securely into the receptacle on the side of the griddle.

- Plug the temperature control probe into a standard electrical outlet.
- Turn the temperature control dial to your desired heat setting. The indicator light will illuminate, signifying that the griddle is heating.
- Allow the griddle to preheat for approximately 5-10 minutes, or until the indicator light turns off, indicating the set temperature has been reached.
- Apply a small amount of cooking oil or butter to the nonstick surface if desired, though the ceramic coating is designed for cooking with less oil.
