Follow these steps to set up your RØDE Wireless ME system:

1. Charge Units: Ensure both the Transmitter (TX) and Receiver (RX) units are fully charged using the provided USB-C cables. The battery level will be displayed on the unit's screen.

   • For smartphones (Android) or computers (USB-C): Use the SC22 (USB-C to USB-C) cable to connect the RX to your device.
   • For computers (3.5mm input): Use the SC7 (TRS to TRRS) cable to connect the RX to your computer's microphone input.
4. Position Transmitter (TX): Clip the TX unit onto your subject's clothing, ensuring the built-in microphone is facing towards their mouth for optimal sound capture.
5. Attach Windshields (Optional): If recording outdoors or in windy conditions, attach the furry windshields to the built-in microphones on both TX and RX units to reduce wind noise.

• Poor Audio Quality/Distortion:
  • Ensure the TX unit's microphone is positioned correctly and not obstructed.
  • If recording outdoors, use the furry windshields to minimize wind noise.
  • While GainAssist is automatic, very loud environments might still cause issues. Try to reduce ambient noise if possible.
  • Check for potential wireless interference. Move away from other wireless devices or strong electromagnetic fields.
