- Rotate the Volume Control knob clockwise to turn the radio on. The power indicator light will illuminate.

Using the Earphone Jack
To listen privately, plug standard 3.5mm earphones (not included) into the earphone jack located on the side of the radio. The internal speaker will automatically mute when earphones are connected.

NOAA Weather Band Operation
The Greadio GR239 is equipped to receive NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) Weather Radio broadcasts, providing continuous weather information directly from the nearest National Weather Service office.
- Set the Band Selector switch to WB.
