3.4. Connecting Headphones and Monitors

For monitoring your audio, the iRig Pro Duo I/O provides a headphone output and balanced line outputs.

Each input (1 and 2) has a dedicated gain knob on the top panel. Rotate these knobs clockwise to increase the input gain for your connected microphone or instrument. Adjust the gain to achieve an optimal signal level without clipping (distortion).

This is useful for monitoring your performance without delay from your recording software. Toggle the switch to 'ON' for direct monitoring or 'OFF' to monitor through your software.
