4. Engines

Model rocket engines are assigned a letter that corresponds with their power level. Engines beginning with the letter 'A' are the lowest power and are generally the best choice for beginner rockets. Estes makes it easy by providing a list of acceptable engines for each rocket. For the Neon Tiger, the recommended engines are B6-2, C5-3, and C6-3.

5. Preparation for Launch

6. Launching

Once your rocket is prepared and all safety precautions are in place, you are ready to launch:

1. Ensure everyone stands back at least 15 feet from the launch pad.
