Install smoke detectors in every sleeping area and on every level of your home, including the basement. For optimal protection, place detectors in hallways and large rooms. Keep detectors at least 10 cm (4 inches) away from walls and corners when mounting on a ceiling.

Once the detector is twisted onto the mounting bracket, it will automatically power on. The LED indicator will flash, and the unit will emit a short beep to confirm activation.
