The VOLTCRAFT VC-440 E requires one 9V battery (included). To install or replace the battery:

1. Ensure the multimeter is turned OFF and all test leads are disconnected from the device and any circuit.

2. For currents up to 600mA, insert the red test lead into the mAµA jack. For currents up to 10A, insert the red test lead into the 10A jack. Insert the black test lead into the COM jack.
3. Turn the rotary switch to the appropriate A~ or A- position. Use SELECT to choose AC or DC current if needed.
