This manual provides essential information for the safe and effective use of your Sigma 150-600mm F5-6.3 DG OS HSM Contemporary Lens for Canon EF Cameras. This high-performance super-telephoto zoom lens is designed for versatility and portability, making it suitable for a wide range of photographic applications, including wildlife, sports, and landscape photography.

3. การตั้งค่า

3.1 การติดตั้งเลนส์เข้ากับกล้อง

1. Remove the rear lens cap from the lens and the body cap from your Canon EF camera.
2. Align the red index mark on the lens barrel with the corresponding red index mark on your camera's lens mount.

The lens hood helps to block extraneous light and protect the front element of the lens.

Due to the lens's size and weight, using the included tripod collar is recommended for stable shooting, especially on a tripod or monopod. The collar allows for rotation of the camera without detaching the lens.

• The tripod collar is pre-attached. To adjust its position, loosen the locking knob on the side of the collar.
• Rotate the lens within the collar to switch between horizontal and vertical orientations.
• Tighten the locking knob firmly once the desired orientation is achieved.
• The tripod collar can be removed by loosening the knob and pulling it off the lens barrel. A protective rubber ring is provided to cover the attachment point if the collar is removed.

4.1 การซูม

The lens features a zoom ring to adjust the focal length from 150mm to 600mm. Rotate the zoom ring to achieve your desired magnification.

• สวิตช์ล็อคการซูม: This switch allows you to lock the zoom ring at any marked focal length (150mm, 200mm, 300mm, 400mm, 500mm, 600mm) to prevent zoom creep, especially when carrying the lens. To lock, slide the switch to the "LOCK" position when the lens is at the desired focal length. To unlock, slide it back.

4.2 การโฟกัส

The lens supports both autofocus (AF) and manual focus (MF).

• สวิตช์ AF/MF: Set this switch to "AF" for autofocus operation or "MF" for manual focus. In MF mode, rotate the focus ring to adjust focus.

The Optical Stabilizer (OS) function compensates for camera shake, allowing for sharper images, especially at slower shutter speeds or longer focal lengths.

4.4 Custom Switches (C1/C2)

The lens features two custom modes (C1 and C2) that can be configured using the optional Sigma USB Dock (sold separately). These modes allow you to customize autofocus speed, OS effect, and focus limiter range to suit specific shooting styles or conditions.
