This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, setup, and operation of your Leviton Decora Motion Sensor In-Wall Switch (Model IPS02-1LW). This device is designed to automatically turn lights ON when motion is detected and OFF when the room is vacated, offering convenience and energy savings. Please read all instructions carefully before beginning installation.

- Identify Load and Ground Wires: In a typical wall box for this device, you will find one black wire (hot), a bare copper wire (ground), and another black wire (load). The color of wires can vary; if unsure, consult an electrician.

2. Wiring the Motion Sensor Switch
The IPS02-1LW switch offers the option of either wrapping leads around the terminal screws or using an external back-wire clamp. This guide demonstrates back-wiring.

2. Adjusting Time-Out and Light Sensitivity
To access the adjustment dials, gently remove the face cover of the sensor.

- Position '0' = 30 seconds (recommended for testing)
- Position '1' = 5 minutes
- Position '2' = 15 minutes
- Position '3' = 30 minutes

- Turn clockwise for lights to turn ON in lighter conditions (higher sensitivity).

- For Vacancy Sensors (IPV series), light level sensitivity does not apply as they are manual-on.
After adjusting, replace the face cover.

การแก้ไขปัญหา
- Lights do not turn off after 30 seconds (IPV Series): If lights do not turn off 30 seconds after leaving the room, decrease the sensitivity of the sensor.
- Lights do not turn on (IPS Series): If lights do not turn on automatically when you step back into the room, increase the sensitivity of the sensor.
