Most Nonin fingertip pulse oximeters use two AAA alkaline batteries. To install, slide the battery door off the back of the device, insert the batteries matching the polarity markings (+ and -), and slide the door back into place.
Gently wipe the device surfaces with a soft cloth dampened with a mild detergent or a 10% bleach solution. Do not use undiluted bleach, ammonium chloride, or isopropyl alcohol, and never immerse the device in liquid.
