Download the free iHealth MyVitals app from the App Store or Google Play. Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone, open the app, and follow the on-screen instructions to add your specific device.
Ensure the device is charged or has fresh batteries. Check that the cuff is applied correctly (for BP monitors) or the sensor is clean (for thermometers). If using Bluetooth, ensure the connection is active in the MyVitals app.
Read results between 15 and 30 minutes after application. A line under 'C' only indicates a Negative result. Lines under both 'C' and 'T' (even if faint) indicate a Positive result. If no line appears under 'C', the test is Invalid.
The iHealth MyVitals app is available for download on the Apple App Store for iOS devices and the Google Play Store for Android devices.
The IHB symbol indicates an Irregular Heartbeat was detected during the measurement. If this symbol appears frequently, it is recommended to consult your physician.
