3. การติดตั้งและการประกอบ

1. Ensure the chainsaw is turned off and the safety lock is engaged.
2. Align the DeWALT 20V Max battery (not included) with the battery slot at the base of the chainsaw handle.

The chainsaw features a tool-less tensioning system for convenience.

1. Ensure the chainsaw is disconnected from any power source (battery removed).
2. Loosen the red knob on the side of the chainsaw.
3. Place the chain around the guide bar, ensuring the cutting edges are facing the correct direction (refer to markings on the chain and guide bar).
4. Fit the chain and guide bar assembly onto the chainsaw body, aligning the chain with the sprocket.
5. Turn the red knob to adjust chain tension. The chain should be snug against the guide bar but still able to be pulled freely by hand. A properly tensioned chain will not sag on the underside of the guide bar.
6. Tighten the red knob firmly to secure the guide bar and chain.

3.3 Filling the Auto Oiler Reservoir

The chainsaw is equipped with an automatic chain lubrication system. Use only high-quality bar and chain oil.

2. Unscrew the cap and carefully pour bar and chain oil into the reservoir, up to the maximum fill line (approx. 30ml).

• Branch Trimming: For small branches, position the chainsaw firmly against the branch and allow the chain to do the work. Avoid forcing the saw.
