The HLG-240H-24B operates in both Constant Voltage (CV) and Constant Current (CC) modes, providing flexibility for various LED applications. The dimming function allows for adjustable light output.

4.1 Driving Methods of LED Module

This series is capable of operating in either Constant Current mode (direct drive) or Constant Voltage mode (using additional DC/DC drivers). The highest voltage at the output depends on the configuration of the end system. For compatibility issues, consult MEAN WELL.

4.2 Dimming Operation (B-Type)

The HLG-240H-24B (B-Type) supports 3-in-1 dimming functions: 1-10VDC, 10V PWM signal, or resistance. Output constant current level can be adjusted by applying one of these methodologies between DIM+ and DIM-.

  • Applying Additive 1-10VDC: Connect a 1-10VDC signal between DIM+ and DIM-.
  • Applying Additive 10V PWM Signal: Connect a 10V PWM signal (frequency range 100Hz ~ 3KHz) between DIM+ and DIM-.
  • Applying Additive Resistance: Connect a variable resistance between DIM+ and DIM-.

Note: Dimming source current from power supply is 100µA (typ.). Connecting DIM- to -V is not recommended.
