Before first use, clean all removable parts and run a brewing cycle with water only.

1. Wash the insulated carafe, its lid, and the removable filter basket in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
2. Fill the water tank with fresh, cold water up to the MAX level (1.2 L).
3. Place the empty filter basket into its holder and close the top lid.

3. Add the desired amount of ground coffee into the filter. A general guideline is one tablespoon of coffee grounds per cup (approximately 150ml). Adjust to taste.

1. Fill the water tank with a descaling solution (e.g., white vinegar and water in a 1:2 ratio, or a commercial descaling agent following its instructions).
2. Place the empty filter basket (without coffee or paper filter) and the empty carafe on the warming plate.
3. Start a brewing cycle. Allow half of the solution to brew through, then turn off the coffee maker and let it soak for 15-20 minutes.
