The Solac CE4498 is a compact espresso machine designed for ease of use and quality coffee preparation. It features a touch screen interface, a 20-bar Italian pump, and the Solac Double Cream system for rich, authentic crema.

• Wash the water tank, portafilter, and filters with warm soapy water, then rinse thoroughly.

• Replace the water tank securely in its position.

• Once the light stops flashing and remains solid, the machine is ready.

The Solac CE4498 features an exclusive, illuminated touch screen for easy operation:

1. Ensure the machine is preheated (solid light).
2. Insert the desired filter (single or double) into the portafilter.
3. Add ground coffee to the filter. Use the measuring spoon to add 1 level spoon for a single shot or 2 for a double.
4. เบาๆamp the coffee with the flat side of the measuring spoon. Ensure the coffee level is below the MAX line of the filter.
5. Attach the portafilter to the brewing head by aligning it and turning it firmly to the right until it locks.

8. To stop dispensing manually, press the active coffee button again.

3. Customizing Coffee Volume

The machine allows you to customize the volume for single and double shots:

1. Ensure the machine is preheated and ready.

3. Release the button when the desired volume is reached. The machine will remember this setting for future use.

4. Frothing Milk (Steam Nozzle)

The adjustable stainless steel steam nozzle allows you to prepare creamy cappuccinos and lattes.

6. Once desired foam is achieved, turn the steam control knob clockwise to stop steam.

4. Portafilter and Filters

2. Place a large container under the coffee outlet and steam nozzle.
