For optimal performance, ensure surfaces are clean and dry before applying Loctite 243. Remove any oil, grease, or other contaminants using a suitable cleaning agent. While Loctite 243 is surface insensitive and has enhanced oil tolerance, a clean surface will always yield the best results.

Do not return unused product to the original container as contamination may reduce shelf life. The product has a shelf life of approximately 2 years when stored properly in unopened containers.
