5. Place the handset on the base unit to charge for at least 16 hours before first use. The "IN USE/CHARGE" light on the base will illuminate.

Base Unit Controls and Features

The base unit features a Visual Ringer that flashes during incoming calls, Volume Up/Down buttons for adjusting the ringer loudness, a Silent button to mute the ringer, a Power Button and In Use/Charge Light indicating power status and charging, and a Find button to locate a misplaced handset.
