This manual provides instructions for the safe and efficient operation of your Mr. Coffee 12-Cup Programmable Coffeemaker, Model BVMC-CHX23-1-RB. Please read all instructions before use and retain for future reference. This coffeemaker is designed to brew up to 12 cups of coffee and features a programmable timer, automatic pause function, and a water filtration system.

- แกะ: Carefully remove all packaging materials and labels from the coffeemaker.
- ทำความสะอาด: Before first use, wash the carafe and filter basket in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
- Initial Cleaning Cycle: Fill the water reservoir to the 12-cup mark with clean water. Place an empty paper filter (or the reusable filter) into the filter basket. Run a full brew cycle without coffee grounds. Discard the water and repeat once more. This cleans the internal components.

- Plug the coffeemaker into an electrical outlet. The digital display will flash.

- Open the lid and fill the water reservoir with fresh, cold water using the glass carafe. The dual water window allows visibility as you fill. Do not exceed the 12-cup MAX fill line.
- Place a 10-12 cup basket-style paper filter or the reusable filter into the filter basket.
- Add the desired amount of ground coffee into the filter. A general guideline is one level tablespoon of coffee per cup. Adjust to taste.

- The Grab-A-Cup Auto Pause feature allows you to temporarily remove the carafe during the brewing cycle to pour a cup of coffee. Replace the carafe within 30 seconds to prevent overflow.
- Once brewing is complete, the coffeemaker will automatically keep the coffee warm for 2 hours, then shut off.
Using Delay Brew
The Delay Brew timer allows you to set the coffeemaker to start brewing at a later time.
- Prepare the coffeemaker for brewing as described in steps 1-5 of "Brewing Coffee".

Decalcification (Descaling)
Mineral deposits (calcium and lime) can build up in your coffeemaker and affect its performance. Decalcify your coffeemaker every 80 brew cycles or every 3 months, whichever comes first.
- Pour 4 cups of undiluted white household vinegar into the water reservoir.
- Place an empty paper filter (or the reusable filter) into the filter basket.

- Turn the coffeemaker ON and allow half of the vinegar solution to brew into the carafe.
- Turn the coffeemaker OFF and let it soak for at least 30 minutes.
- Turn the coffeemaker ON again and brew the remaining vinegar solution into the carafe.
- Discard the vinegar solution from the carafe and rinse the carafe thoroughly.
- Fill the water reservoir with fresh, clean water and run a full brew cycle to rinse the coffeemaker. Repeat this rinsing cycle two more times.
